Response to HR Magazine’s February 2009 Cover Story
In the February 2009 issue of HR magazine, a cover story was written and titled “Strategies for saving in a down economy.” I read the article and agreed with much of what was said until I got to a section on technology and contact management.
Here’s the section with which I have a serious concern.
White Papers are coming soon….
In April of 2009, we will add white papers to CompareHRIS.com and HR-SoftwareBlog.com. At first, we will accept white papers from only our current vendors of CompareHRIS.com. We are going to test it out with our existing vendors for two months to see what type of traffic and input we receive from our visitors on these new helpful sources of information.

This month, development and design of a European version of CompareHRIS.com is underway. We established a contract with Denis Barnard with HRMeansBusiness.com out of the UK to use our software for creating their European version of our site.
CompareHRIS.com We are not seeing an economic downturn
It’s almost scary to print those words. I am afraid I am going to jinx myself. In November and December of 2008, we saw the traffic to CompareHRIS.com plateau and then drop off.
